If you are reading this, you survived the end of the world prophecy made by the Mayans.
I made it through the entire day with the prophecy hanging over my head and the winter solstice shortening the day.
It's all good here in the farmette neighborhood.

pretty old place! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm still here!!!
ReplyDeletewould love to explore the inside of this old home..
Yet another old, abandoned farmhouse out in the country. It is a pretty place.
ReplyDeleteLove that house! Do you think it's still sturdy enough to save? Love the bit of gingerbread. We picked up a smoked turkey today for Christmas dinner and now we are all set.. don't need to go out for 3 days if we don't wanna. :-) ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
ReplyDeleteWe're still here, too! No meteors...no volcanoes. But we have had snow and 50 mph winds all day! ha.
ReplyDeleteJust surviving these long winter nights is enough for me, never mind the Mayan calendar! Pretty photo! xx
ReplyDeleteOoo I love this photo. Great b&w.
ReplyDeleteLove that old house. Glad you made it and me and the whole world:) Wen do you think the next end of the world will be:) B
ReplyDeleteI'm not quite sure the reasons for having so many properties that are left and not cared for. I saw another today. It was an older home, with detached garage and the place was all boarded up.
ReplyDeleteHaha :) We are alive here in India too! Beautiful capture as always Michelle :)
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day :)
Glad to hear Michelle......Love the old farmhouse, my favorite to see the old places.....Blessings Francine.
ReplyDeleteNow the days are getting longer. I feel so much better!

ReplyDeleteI never for one second imagined you and this old house wouldn't be there today!
ReplyDeleteI'm here! Pretty picture.
ReplyDeleteI love that look and often dream and wonder about the people whose laughter filled the rooms years before. I wish I had the $$ to refurbish all of these old homes....
ReplyDeleteI feel exactly like yesterday...
ReplyDeleteNow, we get to look forward to LONGER days! Yippee!!
ReplyDeleteI love you pics of the old houses and barns. Such a sense of nostalgia, but beautiful.
This was a case where my natural skepticism helped out.
ReplyDeleteYes, life goes on and on and on ...
ReplyDeletePlease have you all a good Sunday.
When I see old places like this, it makes me wonder about the people that lived there. What was their life like? Where did they go? and why didn't anyone take care of the place?
ReplyDeleteWe are all still here in Australia.
ReplyDeleteMerle....
