I agree with Lana. It does look similar to the tulip tree that we have here in East Texas....They bloom in late Feb here... Beautiful color... Love your thoughtless Thursday!
I can't tell with close ups. If you back up and do the whole plant or bush I might be able to tell you what it is. Might as in maybe. Ok I finally started a playlist and came over here and "borrowed" at least a half dozen. I sure like your pics.
